Flourite
Flourite takes its name from the Latin word “fluere” because of its melting point.  One of the most influential stones with lots of qualities, it increases mental, emphasizes concerns of ancestral connection, and is also excellent for easing emotional problems on the home front.
This “home of rainbows” exerts its influence through its colors:  violet for mental expansion; blue for benefiting situations requiring clear communication; green helps troubled relationships; pink and rose-red for stimulation and revitalization; brown or black aids concentration; white or colorless exerts a protective shield of influence.
 
Known to bring order to chaos, fluorite imparts impartiality and detached reasoning where needed.  It also helps in achieving physical perfection.  Flourite aids in dreams of the future, enhances the powers of the stones it is associated with and is effective against computer stress.  It prevents narrow-mindedness, increases self-confidence and dexterity, rekindles the libido and increases learning ability.  This versatile stone influences the teeth, cells, bones and helps repair DNA.
 
The Romans imported this stone from Iran to make their famous murrhine vases.  The Greeks also used it for ornamental purposes.  It is used today for important industrial products like rocket fuel.  It has been widely imitated in glassmaking.   Its Zodiac signs are Pisces and Capricorn.

Considered the stone of love, self-acceptance and the heart, rose quartz is used to aid as a pain reliever, to heal a broken heart, increase fidelity, calm nerves bring forth suppressed emotions and increase sexuality.
 
Associated with the zodiac sign Taurus, rose quartz is used today to benefit the circulatory system, the heart in particular, aid in sleep and stop headaches.
 
Greek legend tells of Eros, the God of Love and Sexual Desire, bringing rose quartz to earth to inspire love. In ancient times it was used as a love charm and to ensure fertility.
 
Modern uses of the stone include enhancing imagination, healing migraine headaches, attracting love, promoting self-love, healing trauma.
