Agate Agate is used to balance the yin-yang energies. It transforms and eliminates negativity.  It was used in ancient times to dispel sickness by placing it in the water used for cooking or drinking.  It is used to cure insomnia and to insure pleasant dreams.  It is also said to be one of the stones used in the breastplate of the high priest.   Agate possess some wonderful virtues as its wearer is guarded from all dangers and was endowed with a bold heart.   Agate is used to stimulate analytical capabilities.  It is supposed to strengthen sight, diminish thirst and promoted marital fidelity.  It is associated with the Zodiac sign of Gemini.

		Dolomite The name came from the French mineralogist, D. Gratet de Dolomieu who described it in 1791. During the Middle Ages physicians and alchemists ground the stone to powder for use in the treatment of skin rashes and bone diseases.   Dolomite is used to encourage charitable actions and to relieve sorrow by showing that all things happen for a reason.  It also helps to encourage energetic and impulsive original thinking.  Dolomite is good for building muscular structure, blood cells, bone, teeth, nails and skin.  It helps treat disorders of the adrenal glands and urogenital system.  Some forms protect the pancreas, the thyroid gland, ovaries and testicles against disease.   Dolomite is sometimes associated with the Zodiac sign Aries.

		Jasper Jasper is associated with the zodiac sign of Libra, Aries and Pisces. Red jasper is associated with Aries.
